Your data, straight

What we collect: what you put in the quote form, the property's postcode and details, your name, phone and email, plus basic site analytics.

What we do with it: share your job with at most three vetted clearance firms so they can quote it. We name them to you. That's the entire purpose of the service and the only reason we ask.

What we never do: sell your details to marketing lists, pass them to anyone beyond the quoting firms, or contact you about anything other than your clearance.

How long we keep it: active jobs for as long as they're active; closed jobs for 12 months (so we can handle any dispute or review), then deleted.

Your rights: ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted, email support@clearsorted.co.uk and it's done within 30 days. You can withdraw consent at any time and we'll tell the firms to stand down.

Legal bits: ClearSorted Ltd is the data controller, registered with the ICO. Data is stored in the UK/EEA. Lawful basis: consent (you tick the box) and legitimate interest (running the service you asked for).

Terms, briefly

ClearSorted is an introduction service. Quotes are made by, and contracts for clearance work are between, you and the clearance firm you choose. We vet firms diligently (licence, insurance, references) but each firm is an independent business responsible for its own work. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. If a firm falls short, tell us, performance decides whether firms stay on the platform.
